Our Vision
The Institute of Nutrition and Food Science Alumni Association (INFSAA) envisions a thriving, interconnected alumni community that serves as a bridge between the past, present, and future generations of nutritionists, food scientists, and public health professionals. We strive to create a platform where alumni can stay engaged, exchange knowledge, and contribute to the advancement of nutrition and food science—both in Bangladesh and on a global scale.
Our vision is to cultivate a collaborative and empowering environment where alumni can:
- Reconnect & Network – Strengthen personal and professional ties through meaningful interactions and lifelong connections.
- Inspire & Mentor – Support and guide young graduates in their academic and career pursuits.
- Innovate & Lead – Drive research, technological advancements, and policy reforms in the fields of nutrition, food safety, and publichealth.

The Institute of Nutrition and Food Science Alumni Association (INFSAA) is a non-political, non-aligned, and voluntary learned society that brings together the alumni and faculty of the Institute of Nutrition and Food Science (INFS), University of Dhaka. Established in 2012 during a memorable reunion, INFSAA was founded by a group of visionary alumni who recognized the need for a dedicated platform to foster lifelong connections, professional collaborations, and knowledge exchange.
Over the years, INFSAA has evolved into a vibrant network of nutritionists, food scientists, public health professionals, researchers, and industry leaders, all united by a shared passion for advancing nutrition science and promoting healthier communities. Our mission is to strengthen the bond among alumni, support academic and professional growth, and contribute to national and global efforts in nutrition, food security, and public health.
